sisal sustainability - EcoPByLeo
In terms of sustainability, sisal is organically grown, as no pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used. It is also a highly renewable plant that is resistant to drought. This level of sustainability favours it over other fibres, both natural and synthetic. As it is a natural fibre this means it easily compostable at the end of its life cycle.
